Now it's his Champ.
I gave $200 for this project. It had been wrecked and the
engine was froze. I rebuilt it to be better than new.
This is a two part video. The first part is
the test flight just after the rebuild. The second part is from
being featured on WEAR TV 3.

Fellow
EAA485 member Robert Jones has shared a video of the 1971 National Air Race in
Wildwood (Cape May) NJ in which he flew his Pitts in the bi-plane category.
Four pilots died that day in two separate accidents. The
video shows no pictures of the accidents, just a summery at the
end. This was Robert's last air race competition.
