Chapter 485 held a private Young Eagles Rally at Roscoe field (82J) in Pensacola.

We flew 26 graduates of the Chappie James Flight Academy in Pensacola. It was the culmination of a week of aviation activities for the kids. We had an excellent turnout of aircraft (10) and pilots (12). Just 8 ground volunteers made it challenging, but all flying and ground activities were accomplished safely. A rain shower mid-morning caused a 30-minute delay in the proceedings. Luckily everyone brought an umbrella or tent.
